At Concept Domestic Floors, we have an extensive range of over 3000 quality carpets selected mainly from UK leading manufactures which can be fitted at highly competitive prices. We have a large selection of carpets to suit all tastes, needs and budget.
Carpets add finishing touch to your home and we offer a diverse range of colours and styles, piles, weights and materials to suit your home. Typically two types of carpets are available – Woven and Tufted. Woven carpet is made using traditional methods which create a more premium finish. The carpet is made with all patterns and colours woven in rather than printed on the carpet. It can made either in pure wool or a blend of and manmade fibres, normally 80% wool, 20% nylon. Chose from Axminsters, which tend to be patterned.
Tufted carpets currently the most type of carpet as the manufacturing process makes this a great value choice. It is typically made by a row of needles punching the pile yarn into the backing cloth. This type of carpet is bouncy and comes in a great variety of finishes and colours.
We offer a free estimation no obligation service and provide fitting though our highly qualified fitters to ensure your flooring is installed and finished to a high standard. We also offer a free loan sample service so that you can chose in the comfort of your own home.
In addition, we will recommend whether or not your home will benefit from new underlay – which is very important to improve the life and durability of your carpet. Good underlay prevents carpet from flattening so that it stays like new for longer. Good quality underlay also helps keep in heat and reduce noise.

KARNDEAN
Concept Flooring is Northamptonshire’s only Platinum Partner.
Concept Flooring carries the largest and most comprehensive display of Karndean Flooring. Our recently refurbished showroom has a newly installed Karndean Platinum Design studio where we are pleased to offer our customers a design table and unique play table service which allows our customers to select the colours, strips and border they like. The table also allows you to see various designs and our experienced staff are oh hand to offer the best suggestions which work for you – before you finalise your decision.- The floor been prepared properly with either a good quality latex at a minimum 3mm thick coat
- The correct primer been used prior to the latexing
- A good quality 6mm plywood has been used
- Use of the correct adhesive applied in the correct way
- The sub floor has been checked for moisture
Our trained staff are happy to explain these details in store, on a home survey or by phone.We complete a site survey to help with design and general guidance. This ensures we carry out a the correct installation procedure
We offer all Karndean care products to help maintain your new Karndean floor from cleaners and seals to felt pads for furniture feet.
